【故事梗概】
米娅·米拉克尔是一名女大学生，兼职在她姑姑苏珊的古董店工作。在古董店的密室里，她打开了“奇迹之盒”，从而获得了将厄运转移给他人的能力。两名劫匪闯入店内试图抢夺这只盒子，但被米娅的超能力击退。这种能力由米娅脑海中的一个系统管理，并且每次使用后都会升级。
索菲娅来到店里想购买米娅的奇迹之盒。与此同时，一个伪装成保镖的刺客也被派来，但被米娅和苏珊联手击败。从刺客身上发现的一张卡片揭示了幕后黑手是凯莉·查尔斯，人称“红皇后”。
红皇后随后联系了她的吸血鬼护卫路易斯·文森特，安排了第三次刺杀行动。路易斯派他的妹妹琪琪·文森特伪装成一名大学生，试图用毒咖啡毒害米娅。米娅正准备喝下毒咖啡时，被来自另一个吸血鬼家族的克拉克·墨菲及时阻止。

Character: Mia
Shelves and stuff are in a dark secret room of an antique store. Mia wears a casual dress and finds a box with mysterious patterns.
MIA:
(Narration)
I’m Mia, a college student, working in an antique store owned by my auntie. My mother left me a Box. Aunt Susan is not here today. It's time to get it back.
Mia removes the dust on the box, then opens it with the flashlight. The box shines in a magical light covering Mia. Mia is surprised but calms down quickly. She walks out with the box. There are two bandits trying to rob the antique store.

INT. ANTIQUE STORE - NIGHT
Characters: Mia, Robber A, Robber B, Michael
Robber A shuts down the shop door while Robber B points a gun at Mia.
Robber B：
(angrily)
Hand over the Box of Miracles!
MIA:
(raising her hands, the Box falls to the ground)
Don't hurt me! Take whatever you want.
Robber A points his gun at the Box on the ground.
Robber A
(angrily)
Give it to me!
Mia bends down to pick up the box and holds it in her arms.
MIA:
This is a memento from my mother. It's not an antique. It has no value.
Robber B
(shoving Mia)
Hand it over!
While Robber B is shoving Mia, Mia's hand touches the robber glowing with a magical light. Suddenly, the ground shakes, and a nearby cabinet falls over, pinning Robber B beneath it.
During the earthquake, Robber A and Mia struggle for the Box. Robber A points his gun at Mia. Mia instinctively raises her hand to block it. The curse activates. Robber A pulls the trigger, but the gun jams. Angrily, he pins Mia to the ground.
The shop door is broken open. Michael bursts in from outside, shouting Mia's name, and pushes Robber A off, engaging him in a fight. Robber A, unable to win, gets up and runs outside.
Robber A runs out of the shop and is hit by a car.
Narrative (Text): Unlucky Curse level up from 1 to 2. Curses pass from objects in a short time.

INT. ANTIQUE STORE - DAY
Characters: Mia, Michael, Susan, Sofia
In the antique store, Mia and Susan sit at a tea table. Michael stood beside her. Mia grapes a teacup and drinks the tea. When she puts down the cup, the cup cracks.
SUSAN:
(Look at Mia’s hand but refuse to touch)
You got the power of a curse that can pass bad luck to people. Your mother’s last words were correct. You should stay away from it. The box inserts a second voice into your mind like installing a system.
MIA:
It came to me in a dream. There was a voice asking me to open it.
SUSAN:
The box was calling you. Why didn’t you tell me?
MIA:
I don’t know. The voice drove me to that room.
Sofia, wearing a luxurious dress, walks into the antique store. There are two bodyguards standing outside. Sofia put a suitcase filled with cash on the counter. Cash flows out.
SOFIA:
I want to buy your box. Mia, this is your last chance.
MIA:
Who are you?

INT. ANTIQUE STORE - DAY
Characters: Mia, Michael, Susan, Sofia, Bodyguard A, Bodyguard B.
Sofia talks with Mia, Michael and Susan in the store. Two bodyguards stand at the door.
SOFIA:
I’m Sofia Charles. I’m here to save you.
MICHAEL:
Did you send the robbers last night?
SOFIA:
Not me. But I know who did it.
MIA:
Tell me.
SOFIA:
You’re better off not knowing.
Selling the box and leaving this country is your best choice…
MIA:
I will not go. My family and friends are all here.
Please tell me who sent the robbers. Why do you want the Box?
Bodyguard A suddenly pulls out a gun and shoots towards Mia.
SUSAN:
(raises hand and chants)
Silence!
Susan’s power stops the bullet. The bullet falls on the ground.
Mia throws the cup towards Bodyguard A. He punches through the cup. The debris touches him. Bodyguard A is cursed and walks backwards. A plant pot falls from upstairs and hits his head. Bodyguard A collapses on the ground.
SOFIA:
(sighs)
This is the reason.
Bodyguard B pulls out the gun and walks towards Bodyguard A. Bodyguard A dies. A puddle of blood is under his head. Bodyguard B searches A’s body and finds a card: a Queen of Hearts.
SOFIA:
(holds the card and talks seriously)
It’s the Red Queen.
Narrative (text): Unlucky curse level up from 2 to 3. The user can exclude the curse on certain targets. Learn a new passive: Lucky.

INT. CHARLES MANSION - DAY
Characters: Kelly, Luis, Mary
Kelly holds a Queen of Hearts. She sits at her desk in her office and dresses red. Mia’s photo is on her table.
KELLY:
(on the phone)
How is it going?
LUIS:
(answer on the other side of the phone)
Sorry Queen, the mission failed.
KELLY:
(unhappily)
One last chance. If you can’t make that girl disappear, you know the consequences.
LUIS:
(serious)
Yes, Queen. Please trust me. I will make it happen.
Someone knocks on the door.
Kelly:
Come on in.
MARY:
(brings an envelope and stands in front of the desk)
Queen, here is Mr. Charles’s treatment report.
According to the doctor, he may live for a year at most.
KELLY:
(reviews the report. Feels sad, then smiles)
Good. He is planning to add Mia to the will. How dare he?

Characters: Luis, Kiko
Luis sits with a light spot on his desk. Kiko stands in the dark. Her face is hidden in the shadows.
LUIS:
(extinguishes the cigarette and pushes Mia’s photo towards Kiko)
Mia, a college student. She is your target.
The Queen is not happy. We can’t fail again.
Luis put an envelope and a bottle of poison on the table.
KIKO:
(Reveals the college admission letter from the envelope and sees her new identity)
Yes, brother!

INT. CLASSROOM - DAY
Characters: Mia, Kiko, a teacher, some students
The teacher stands by. Kiko stands in front of the classroom and introduces herself. Other students listen.
KIKO:
(smiles)
Hello everyone, my name is Kiko Vincent. I just transferred to our major. I like painting, art and reading mysterious stories.
(glances at Mia)
Teacher:
Welcome Kiko!
Classmates applaud. Kiko sits beside Mia and greets her.
Teacher:
(writes on the white board)
Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than ourselves, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are a part of is cosmic or divine in nature.
Teacher:
(scene cut)
Class over. Hope everyone will have a great rest of their day!
Teacher walks out of the classroom. Mia and Kiko start packing their laptops and materials.
KIKO:
(points Mia’s bag)
I like your bag. Did you make it?
MIA:
Thank you. My aunt made it. Your necklace looks interesting. I saw something similar in my mom’s writing. I believe it’s from Greece.
Kiko：
Wow. You really know your stuff.
MIA:
My aunt owns an antique store. She taught me a lot.
KIKO:
An antique store? It's so cool. But, why did you decide to learn transpersonal psychology?
MIA:
My mom was a fortune teller. She left me things about spirituality. I want to learn more about her. How about you?
KIKO:
I like the occult. The course setting here is more interesting than art history. I have books about religion, divination and prophecy at home. Oh right! I collect art pieces like my necklace. Do you want to come over and take a look?
(Reveal an evil smile for a second)
MIA:
Thanks for inviting me, but I have a date tonight. Maybe next time?
KIKO:
You have a boyfriend?
MIA:
Sort of, but not really.
KIKO:
Sounds like he is courting you.
MIA:
He is good, but…
KIKO:
Tell me more about him. I’ll buy you some coffee.
(Pull out a coupon)
See, I have a coupon.
Kiko hides the poison in her hand.

EXT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY
Characters: Mia, Kiko
Kiko puts poison into one of the coffee cups then brings it to Mia at an outdoor table.
KIKO:
Here is your coffee.
MIA:
Thank you.
Mia is about to drink her coffee but her phone rings.
MIA:
Sorry.
(pulls out the phone)
Hi Michael, I’m having coffee with my new friend. I know. I will take care of myself. A hamburger is good. I will see you at dinner.
(hang off the phone)
KIKO:
It sounds like he is sweet.
MIA:
He is handsome, strong and soft. But he is a little bit serious and sometimes boring. He is more like a…bodyguard.
KIKO:
You know… Playing with a bodyguard can be a lot of fun. They are strong, wild and loyal. Is he good in the bedroom?
MIA:
We are not there yet. We are more like…close friends, or soul mates.
Mia is about to drink the coffee again. Kiko looks at Mia and reveals an evil smile.

EXT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY TIME
Characters: Mia, Kiko, Clark,
Mia is about to drink the coffee but Clark bumps into Mia and the coffee spills out. Kiko shows a brief flash of unpleasantness.
CLARK:
I’m so sorry.
Clark uses the napkin to clean the coffee and table.
CLARK:
Sorry about that. Please use mine. It’s also cappuccino.
Clark hands his coffee to Mia and cleans Mia’s coffee.
Kiko：
Come on! It’s really a cliche way to get to know girls.
MIA:
Clark?
(Surprised)
I heard you graduated. Why are you in my college?
CLARK:
I saw you when you were in the line. May I take a seat?
MIA:
Sure.
Clark sits down.
CLARK:
You know, it’s difficult to find a job nowadays. The entry level positions are all occupied. I sent out my resumes and this is the only one I got.
MIA:
My aunt told me that you graduated as the youngest PhD in your school. Are you a…professor?
CLARK:
Adjunct professor.
MIA:
(Introduce Kiko and Clark)
By the way, this is Kiko. She just transferred to our major. We share similar interests. She likes to read mysterious stories as well. Kiko, this is Clark, my neighbor.
CLARK:
Actually, fiancé.
MIA:
It’s not serious. It was from our parents when we were kids.
CLARK:
But it can be serious.
(look at Kiko)
I’m Clark. By the way, what was your major?
(Clark reveals red eyes for a second and look at Kiko significantly)
KIKO:
(Watches back and reveals red eyes in a second)
Nice to meet you too, Mr. Neighbor. Art History. My previous major.
CLARK:
Really? I recently read Paul Signac’s work. Do you know Paul?
KIKO:
Kind of…His writing is interesting.
CLARK:
As I know, Paul Signac is not a writer but a painter famous for pointillism. Correct me if I’m wrong.
KIKO:
(embarrassed and behaves as if forgetting something)
Oh Sorry… I forgot I had an appointment. I must go.
Kiko stands up and leaves.
CLARK:
(looks at Mia)
Do you want to have dinner together?
MIA:
Not today. I will have dinner with Michael.
CLARK:
(sounds a little jealous)
Michael? That delivery boy? What will you even have for dinner? Burgers again?
Mia sighs and looks up. Scene cut.

Characters: Mia, Michael
Michael is eating a hamburger like a hungry wolf. Mia sits on the other side of the table.
MIA:
(looks at Michael with embarrassment)
Actually… you know… no one is going to steal your burger.
MICHAEL:
(licks his fingers)
Sorry. I got used to it when I worked in fast food.
Mia uses a napkin to help Michael wipe his mouth.
MICHAEL:
(takes the napkin)
Thank you. I can do it.
MIA:
Don’t you need to deliver food today?
MICHAEL:
Someone tried to kill you. I will not leave you alone.
MIA:
Thanks Michael, but we can’t be together 24/7. I mean, we can’t stay overnight.
MICHAEL:
Why not? I will go home with you. I brought my underwear and socks.
MIA:
Actually… My aunt says it’s a little too early to live together. I haven’t even graduated. Aunt Susan will kill me.
MICHAEL:
I know. I prepared for that.
(opens the bag)
MIA:
What’s that?
MICHAEL:
A tent and a sleeping bag. I can stay outside. When you need me, call me.
MIA:
It’s excessive. People will think you are homeless.
MICHAEL:
I don’t care. I just want to protect you.
Michael tries to zip up the bag but is clumsy. His underwear and socks spill out from his bag. Mia helps him pick up stuff and finds a box of condoms.
MIA:

MICHAEL:
(with embarrassment)

A stranger walks by and reveals a meaningful smile.
MIA:
Michael!

INT. SUSAN’S HOUSE - NIGHT
Characters: Mia, Michael, Susan.
Susan reads a book on the sofa. Mia is home and unpacks her bag.
SUSAN:
(lifts her glasses)
Mia, why is there a tent out of our house?
MIA:
That is…Michael.
SUSAN:
Oh boy. Let him in.
MIA:
You told me that I can’t bring guys home.
SUSAN:
It's different. Michael is protecting us. I don’t know where your relationship is, but no matter what, you can’t let him stay outside. Go, let him in. I will prepare food and tea.
Michael moves things into Mia’s home.
SUSAN:
I will go to bed. Don’t sleep too late. You grew up. Remember to use condoms. Good night!
MIA:
Susan!
Michael takes a shower and walks out of the bathroom with his muscular body. He grabs more food and eats it like a hungry dog.
MIA:
Again?
Michael：
I feel that it will not be a peaceful night. I need to build up some energy.
MIA:
The police said that the robbers were killed by the car. The guy who shot me was killed by the plant pot. I know things happened, but they are accidents.
MICHAEL:
Things are not that simple. If those people were sent by the Red Queen, they won’t stop.
MIA:
I don’t think so. I will go to bed.
MICHAEL:
May I sleep with you?
Michael walks into Mia’s room but is pushed out. Door is slammed. Mia goes to bed. Michael lays on a bean bag in the living room. Michael pretends to snore. Mia brings a blanket to cover him. Micheal opens his eyes and watches nervously from the window.

EXT. PARK OUTSIDE OF SUSAN’S HOUSE - NIGHT
Characters: Clark, Kiko
Kiko walks towards Susan’s home. Clark appears in front of Kiko.
KIKO:
I still can’t believe Murphy’s family is also involved.
CLARK:
(takes off his glasses)
You are really bold to sneak into Mia’s college. If I’m right, you are part of the Vincent family.
KIKO:
(eyes turn red and reveal the sign of a vampire)
Our powers were sealed during the day. Tonight, shall prove once and for all that the Vincents beat the Murphys!
Clark unseals the power of the vampire and starts fighting with Kiko.
